KwaMthethwa Petroleum (Pty)Ltd was established in 2016 and is a licensed wholesaler and distributor of petroleum products. We are a Level 1 BEE company operating within the industrial city of Richards Bay. Our core business is diesel, we supply bulk diesel fuel to customers in Richards Bay and surrounding areas.
Our core business is diesel wholesale and distribution. In addition we supply lubricants, spill kits and other petroleum related products. We have established a relationship with our clients.
Our fuel depot is located 70 Acacia Road in KwaMbonambi is strategically located within proximity of the N2 national road. Our 24 hour diesel depot allows us to store diesel and supply to local customers timeously. Customers (members of the public are also welcome to) can also fill up on our site. Our onsite services include diesel and overnight parking.
We are a local black owned company that is willing to collaborate with stakeholders in the industry.
Kwamthethwa Petroleum has fully embraced the objectives of the “Petroleum Charter” and the “Petroleum Products Amendment Act 58 of 2003” which form the cornerstone and driving force behind our business; with particular reference to the following:

- The creation of employment opportunities and the development of small businesses in the petroleum sector.
- Ensuring countrywide availability of petroleum products at DoE regulated prices.
Promoting access to affordable petroleum products by low-income consumers for household use especially on LPGas products and Propane.
